What Is A Chemical Peel?

What To Expect
The treatment begins with a double cleanse to remove impurities and prepare the skin. This is followed by gentle exfoliation to slough away dead skin cells. A customized chemical peel is then carefully applied to help resurface the skin, targeting concerns such as dullness, texture, fine lines, or breakouts.

You may feel a tingling, warming, or mild stinging sensation during the application. This is normal and temporary. We monitor your comfort closely and use cooling methods if needed.
Not always! Some peels cause visible flaking or shedding, while others work on a deeper level with little to no visible peeling. Peeling is not necessary to see results—it depends on the type of peel and your skin.
Downtime varies by peel. Light peels may have no downtime, while medium to deep peels may result in 3–7 days of redness, dryness, or visible flaking. We’ll guide you on post-care for a smooth recovery.
Light peels can be done every 2–4 weeks, while medium peels are typically spaced every 4–6 weeks. Deep peels are usually done once or twice a year. We’ll create a customized plan based on your goals.
